Ever since the "death of the sneak peek" {see post HERE}, I've been nothing short of terrible about blogging... I'm sorry for the quietness around here!!  I've been busy in the meantime, did you notice the new look of the site??  I'm really excited about it!!  ​

​Now... to the good part - sweet Baby Sophia!!  Baby Sophia is a BDP Baby Plan baby - so you'll be seeing her at 6 months and at her smash the cake 1st Birthday sessions in the future.  She did great for her newborn session... such a doll.  Enjoy these!!

McConnell Family 2012 - sneak peek {Kingsport, TN Photographer}

I have such a special place in my heart for this family...  For one, they were one of my very first family sessions when I moved out to TN - Miss Anna was just a baby!!  And second, they're awesome!!  I've had the pleasure of capturing them each year - this being the fourth time.  I can't tell you how much I love watching my sweet families grow and change.  This year someone new is in their pictures - Baby Haley was born only a few weeks ago.  She must be a very lucky girl to be born into such a sweet family with the coolest big brother and sister!!  We had a great time trekking around Warrior's Path State Park for this session - with lots of laughs and adventures (and dirty feet too! =)  Enjoy this sneak peek!  Thanks again guys!

Baby Arie - sneak peek {Kingsport TN Newborn Photographer}

This little guy is one of my best friend's son - her fourth!!  He's the tiniest little boy and was so great for his pictures!  I love when it's warm enough to do part of a newborn session outside!  This sweet little baby is one lucky kid!  He is protected and loved by two brothers, one sister and a set of awesome parents.  If that's not lucky, I don't know what is!  Congrats on the new addition guys - enjoy the sneak peek!!

Baby Brayden - sneak peek {Tri-Cities TN Newborn Photographer}

Oh boy did Mr. Brayden give us a run for our MONEY!!!!  He made me work hard for these pictures - but of course it's all worth it!  The first go-round he just wasn't in the mood for pictures, and we caught him at the wrong time of day... so the second time around, we were all much more prepared!  He's one of the most alert newborns I have ever worked with... and also one of the cutest.  I shot Brayden's aunt's wedding and was so excited to hear that he was coming!  Thanks for sticking it out guys, and enjoy your sneak peek of your sweet baby boy!

Spring Mini's - sneak peek {East Tennessee Photographer}

We had SO. MUCH. FUN. yesterday at the Serendipity Spring Mini Sessions!!  The weather was gorgeous, in fact it got hot later in the afternoon!!  All the craziness of rescheduling paid off.  It was awesome to see some of my favorites families and how their sweet kiddos have grown and to meet some amazing new families too!!  I love, love, love my clients!!  Of course you know I'm going to overpost... narrowing things down is has never been one of my strong suits.  Here are a few of my favorites - enjoy these and feel free to share with your friends and family!!

Baby Addison - sneak peek {Kingsport TN Newborn Photographer}

I have had so many sweet babies in the studio lately!!  And they keep coming!  It's so much fun thinking of new ideas and ways to show off these precious new souls to the world.  Addison was a sweetheart and did awesome.  Once I finally got her into a deep sleep, there was no waking her!!  Mom and Dad were troopers - withstanding hours in the heat!!!  There are so many great images it was hard to hold back and not post them all!!!!  Welcome to the world sweet Addison - you're lucky to have such great parents (and family) who care about you so much!  Enjoy the sneak peek and remember...

Baby Brynlee - sneak peek {Bristol, VA Newborn Photographer}

I feel like it's been a little while since I had a sweet newborn in the studio and my was this the perfect session to kick things back into gear!!!  Brynlee was THE sweetest, sleepiest, quietest little precious soul I've ever met!!  She didn't even have an accident on ONE thing {which NEVER happens!!} well, besides Dad (hehe).  Mom and Dad were super laid back and fun to chat with, which I love.  Especially when we're spending 2-3 hours in a small EXTREMELY hot room together!  {Why so hot??  Keeping the room toasty helps baby to be comfy in his/her birthday suit and nice and sleepy, just the way we like them!}

There are so many more cute ones, but here are some to drool over until the rest are finished!!  Congratulations on a beautiful baby girl and enjoy your sneak peek!!  Thanks for an awesomesession!!!

My Newest Addition {Tri Cities TN Newborn Photographer}

On January 6th - which also happens to be my birthday - I was given one of the greatest gifts of all... a sweet, innocent little newborn baby.  Getting him here was definitely NOT a gift, but of course it's all worth it in the end.  Any mother knows what I mean.  The indescribable feeling when you're handed this precious little person for the first time.  It amazes me how fast they grow... I'm so glad that I was able to snag a few shots while he was still super new.  Somehow three weeks have flown by without me even knowing it!  Thank goodness my mom was here to help with the session because it was a fiasco!!  My 4 year old was having a total and complete mental breakdown, I was tired and still recovering and we were all adjusting to life with a new baby!!  As I shared earlier though, somehow we managed to get one awesome shot that I am SOOOO happy and grateful for!!  I felt like I had a glimpse into what my clients must feel when they see images of the important people in their lives for the first time... All I could think about was getting that picture on. my. wall. asap!!!  (And you better believe it already is!!)

Anyways, this is my new little man and his awesome big sister and brother!!!  I love them each to PEICES!!

My "plan" is to get him into the studio again for some more newborn pictures... but we'll see how that goes.  I have tons of adorable boy hats I wanted to get him into and didn't get a chance!!  

<3 A Stack of Love <3 - Kingsport, TN Photographer

I'm going to keep the writing to a minimal - mainly because I should really be sleeping instead of posting this picture, but I just can't help it.  I'm in love.  I've had a wish granted!!  It was crazy and I wish I had a video of what went on behind the scenes, but I was somehow lucky enough to capture this image of my three beautiful children... The top little bundle arrived last Friday and has been such a joy.  I can't wait to get this blown up as huge as possible on a gallery wrap.  I can't think of anything better.  Enjoy... =)

The S Family and Baby C - sneak peek {Kingsport, TN Photographer}

I have said it once and I'll say it again - I love when clients bring their own ideas/props/personality into their sessions.  Mama came with a whole bag of apples and a matching hat (along with loads of other fun goodies)!!!!  How cute is that??  I think they are my favorite images...  You may recognize Mom, Dad and sister from their family session last September - which you can see {HERE}.  Sister has grown so much, and so has their family as they just welcomed baby #2 a few days ago!!  Thanks for a great session guys, enjoy your sneak peek!
