Brittany+Jackson - sneak peek {jonesborough tn wedding photographer}

What a fun, beautiful, rustic, vintage, and laid back wedding this was!!!  I had met with Brittany OVER a year ago (can't believe it's been that long!) so she had been planning this for a while.  Talk about a crafty girl - she practically made her own dress and shoes - yes shoes - along with SUPER cute clutches for each of her bridesmaids!  She was so easy to be around.  Her and Jackson were so obviously in love, it just made me smile watching them.  They had a super fun bridal party and I loved all the colors!!  I only wish we would have had more time for pictures - it was crazy trying to fit them all in - I was a sweaty mess!!!  I loved all the details - you know me and my details - and both families were so sweet.  Thanks again for letting me part of your big day - enjoy your sneak peek!!

Miss E - sneak peek {johnson city tn children's photographer}

I can't believe little miss Elena is already six months old!!  It seems like just yesterday I took her newborn pics!  She wasn't in the best mood ever today - but we still got some cute ones of her.  Anyways, how can you even get a bad picture of this girl?? She's gorgeous, just like her mama!! =)  Her dress matched the flowers perfectly.  Thanks to my hubby for finding this gorgeous spot!!

S Family - sneak peek {Tri Cities TN Family Photographer}

What a fun session this evening!! I'm so glad that we rescheduled because the light this evening was so worth the wait!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE shooting sessions at Tipton Haynes Historical Site... there are so many great spots for pics.  I think it's my new favorite location right now.  Miss M just turned 1 - so we got some fun pics of her in her tutu.  Mom brought outfits and props - which I LOVE!!! This family was so fun!!!  Audrey (mom) jokes that she's my stalker - in fact, she actually won this session in one of my giveaways!!  I'm so glad that she did because they made my job easy tonight!  Thanks for a great time guys - enjoy your sneak peek! =)

baby makes three - sneak peek {johnson city tn family photographer}

Oh my how cute was this little family??  Mr Elliot was so sweet.  He wasn't the biggest fan of my huge camera, but he was such a good sport.  Mom and Dad were so relaxed and laid back - my kind of people!  There are so many images to go through - it's going to be hard to narrow these down!!  Here are a few that stood out to me... I know Mom really likes black and white images - so I included the black and white versions of a couple.  For some reason I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS lean more towards color.  I really need to work on incorporating more black and whites don't I?  Thanks for a super fun session L Family!!! Much more to come!

So there was a new location I wanted to check out, and I thought I'd get Mariah to let me snap a few shots of her.  I got her all prepped: she helped picked out an outfit - we bargained, let her know how long it would take, what we would do afterwards etc.  We were all set.  We finally get out there and of course she doesn't want to do it.  I always hear all these other photogs who say their kids LOVE having their picture taken.  Well - not mine.  In fact, it's the extreme opposite!!  And it makes me so sad...  Anyways, of course I got nothing at the beautiful location, but as we're waiting in the car for Dad to get some snacks she's all smiles and actually seemed happy about me taking her pic!!  Go figure!! Oh well - I'll take what I can get!! I sure love this little girl... I still can't believe she's in school and growing up so fast.  I miss spending time with her so much.

The amazingly awesome H Family {auburn, ca family photographer}

Okay, so I may be a bit biased because this is MY family!!  While we were out visiting in California last month we decided to do a photo shoot.  We are only all together 2 times a year now that the majority of us seven kids are out of the house (weird!!) - so whenever it happens, it's our only shot (no pun intended) for a group family picture for Christmas cards etc.  So we went and had a crazy, extremely hot and tiring photo session.  And I am happy to announce that we all made it through alive!!  The two boys (ah hem... one of them my son) were NOT having it that day.  I think I'll go ahead and start off with my favorite picture: the grandkids.  This picture is actually 2 different pictures put into one ha!!

The boys both took their turns crying and running away while sweet Miss Mariah held the twins and smiled away (thank you Riah!).  I still can't believe we even got something this good - even though the boys aren't smiling, they're not screaming and they're looking in the overall direction of the camera!! I just had to get a picture of what was going on behind me while I was taking their pics (see below).  No wonder they were crying!!!! hahahaaa (this is obvious this is a JOKE right?) I just couldn't resist...

Okay, on a more serious note - here are the rest of my favorites.  I am so grateful for my family and feel lucky to be a part of it.  It's been hard living so far away the past year (can't believe it's already been a year!) but when we get together, it's like we've never been gone.  I love you guys!!!
