Skylar High School Senior {sneak peek}

Real quick - let me just apologize for being a little MIA on the blog...  I spent a few weeks with my familiy on the west coast over the holidays (and will post pics soon!).  I hope you all had a GREAT Christmas and New Year!  I'm excited for what 2013 has in store for BDP and will be announcing some changes and updates soon.  But for now - here's a bit about Skylar:

I've been friends with this handsome guys mama for several years now and have loved doing their family pictures when I go out to visit my family in Northern California.  I can't believe Skylar is already a senior.  He was such a breeze to take pictures of - not only because well, he's easy on the eyes =), but because of his easy going, laid back personality.  There are so many more great ones, but here's a sneak peek from his session in Old Town Auburn, CA.  Enjoy!!

Grace Senior Portraits - sneak peek {TN Senior Portrait Photographer}

I'm so glad that I was able to squeeze sweet Grace in while the fall colors were at their peak!  She really wanted fall leaves as well as old brick walls and an urban feel.  We headed to downtown Jonesborough (seems like all my senior portrait sessions have been there lately...).  I thought it would be the perfect location to combine the two looks.  She was so easy to work with and I loved that my sister was able to come be my assistant for the night.  Grace had her sister/assistant there to help as well!!  Family is the best!!  Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks for a great evening!!

Katie Senior Portraits - sneak peek {Tennessee Photographer}

Katie was so much fun to work with!  Super laid back, go with the flow and so sweet...  I know I say this every time I do a senior portrait session, but I love doing them!!  I love Katie's style and choice of locations.  She had told me a while back about this tattoo shop with super awesome and crazy graffiti walls.  We were able to get some really cool shots there.  I love when clients put their own spin, ideas and opinions on their session and make it their own.  To finish off the session, we headed over to Science Hill High School where Katie plays on the varsity soccer team to get a few shots on the field.  What a beautiful and talented girl!!  Enjoy these!

Cassi & Luke - sneak peek {Kingsport TN Family Photographer}

I've been in downtown Jonesborough a lot lately!!  If you can even believe this - I forgot my bug spray again last night!!!  Grrrr....  Poor Cassi got eaten alive when she had her cheer uniform on.  I felt terrible!!  You may recognize her face (and awesome athletic abilities) from a few of the sessions {HERE} {HERE} and {HERE} I've done for Revolution Dance and Gymnastics.  Her mom is one of the owners.  And the handsome guy sitting next to her is her twin brother!  They were so easy to work with - I love that they brought their football and cheer uniforms with them.  Does it get any cuter?? 

I better stop writing now because I know their Mom is sitting by her phone waiting for these to be posted...  I wish people would get more excited about pictures.  =)  Kidding!!  Thanks for a fun night guys, you have a wonderful family - enjoy the sneak peek!

Kathleen Class of 2012 - sneak peek {Senior Portrait Photographer}

Every time I get the opportunity to do a senior session I'm reminded how much I LOVE them!!!  Kathleen was no exception.  She was super laid back and comfortable in front of the camera.  I think I told her at least 5 times that she should look into modeling.  Am I right??  We shot her session in Downtown Jonesborough - one of my favorite places for a session.  Only problem was that the mosquitos were OUT. OF. CONTROL!!  I had to edit out several bites in these pictures - that's how bad!!  My legs were covered when I got in my car... Yuck!!  Other than that,  it was a perfect evening.  Thanks Kathleen and enjoy your sneak peek!!

Cousins - sneak peek {Bristol, VA Family Photographer}

When Mom called me up on Friday evening and asked if I could come take pictures of her niece and nephew who were only in town for a week, I wasn't sure what to do.  Normally I'd work it in, but I was getting ready to leave on Monday for 2 weeks with all three of my kiddos... and so say the least, was a bit on the stressed side.  If it were anyone else, I might have to turn them down, but I just love this Mama!!!  So Monday morning I headed up to Bristol to take pictures of these cute cousins and had a blast doing it.  They were a breeze to photograph and I always love chatting with Mom.  You'll be seeing more of their family in about a month when they add a new member to their family!  Enjoy this sneak peek!!  Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!!

Jennie Class of 2012 - sneak peek {Tri-Cities TN Senior Portrait Photographer}

I had a blast with Jennie last weekend when in California.  I flew out for a quick trip to surprise my mom {it was her 50th birthday!} and was able to squeeze in Jennie's session.  She'd been asking me to do her senior portraits for months and I thought for sure it would never work out.  I'm so glad it did - she's an awesome girl that I miss very much!!  Enjoy the pics - there are tons more where these came from... 

amanda's senior portraits - sneak peek {johnson city, tn photographer}

First of all - seriously how insanely gorgeous is this girl???  Ugh!!  I would just die for her beautiful skin tones, dark brown eyes and perfect hair...  She reminds me of my daughter, those lucky ducks!!  What a fun session this was!  With the exception of it being crazy hot and humid and the mosquitoes that ate us alive, it was the  perfect session.  Amanda and her mom were so easy to be around, I felt like we had known each other for years!  We were cracking jokes and having tons of fun walking around downtown Jonesborough.  I'd take pictures for them anyday!  Speaking of, I'll be doing their family pictures in the next month or two so keep your eyes out for those.

I don't know what my favorite image from the session is.  If you can believe it there are tons more just as pretty as these... isn't my job hard??  Enjoy the sneak peek of the beautiful Amanda... Thanks again guys for such a fun session! 

Danielle's Senior Portraits - sneak peek {Tri-Cities TN Senior Portrait Photographer}

How beautiful is Danielle??  She was so sweet, go-with-the-flow, mellow and fun too.  We met in downtown Jonesborough where I love shooting.  The weather was super duper humid, but the lighting was great.  I had lots of fun talking and getting to know Danielle a little better.  She wants to be a vet and loves working with animals, so we ended the session at the alpaca farm she helps out at.  I had never been that close to an alpaca before - they're really cute!  They mostly ran away from us, but Danielle managed to wrestle a couple for a few quick shots.  Thanks again Danielle - you're awesome!!!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Miss K - sneak peek {johnson city tn senior portrait photographer}

This gorgeous gal happens to be my baby sister... although she's not quite a baby anymore!!  I am the oldest and she is the youngest (girl) in our family.  I got a little freaked out while editing these pictures because it made me realize just how old she really is getting... time flies!!  I remember when she was born!  Oh this makes me feel so old.  Anyways, she is happy, sweet, positive, constantly smiling, giving, beautiful and so much more.  I'm grateful for her and the wonderful example she is to me.  Love you KK!!!  {sorry these took FOREVER for me to get around to...}  Enjoy!
