Danielle - sneak peek {johnson city tn wedding photographer}

What a fun time I had today with Danielle and her mom.  I love that they had their own locations picked out and she even brought some cowgirl boots - did I mention that I love when clients bring their own props?!  She was so easy going, sweet and of course beautiful, all of which was captured in her bridals.  I can't wait to shoot her wedding in only a few weeks!  You're beautiful Danielle!  Enjoy your sneak peek...

Helping Hands & Linking Arms {johnson city tn photographer}

On April 24th hundreds of volunteers throughout the southeast United States and parts of South America joined hands and put forth service at several projects throughout their communities.  This was part of the Helping Hands & Linknig Arms Day of Service.  I was privilaged enough to be a part of it - and somehow lucky enough to get out of shoveling or digging fence posts!  It was a beautiful day and even more beautiful was watching so many happy faces - old and young - serving their community.  I was assigned to take pictures at the opening ceremonies at Winged Deer Park as well as a fence repair project at Civitan Park and a step building project in the disk golf park at Winged Deer Park.  I wanted to share some of the shots I took throughout the day - and give thanks to all those who participated.  I am looking forward to what we can accomplish next year!!

I think I'm still in shock over the events of last night.  It had been {to say the least} a very, very long day.  We were winding down and almost ready for bathtime when the kiddos asked to go outside for a bit.  They were playing outside happily when I noticed how perfect the lighting was... so of course I had to grab my camera.  Over the past year of so, my kids have begun a ritual of running away when they see me with a camera in my hand.  But not last night!!  They were so sweet and agreed to let me snap a few of them together - which is what I can NEVER seem capture: the two of them together - and happy!!  I just love these pics, and even more, love THESE KIDS!!  What would I do without them?

Miss E. {johnson city tn newborn photographer}

This little sweet bundle of joy just happens to belong to my very good friend - Belinda.  You may recognize her from her maternity session that we did not long ago.  If only we knew then that Miss E. was planning to arrive 4 weeks early!! We never got the chance to get any belly shots with her two big brothers...  Oh well.  What can you do?  She was so great during the session!! It has been and will continue to be a joy to watch her and her family grow together.  Enjoy!

This is my absolutely gorgeous (on the inside and out) sister.  I can't believe that she will be heading to college in just a couple months!  I had the pleasure of taking her senior portraits while we were on vacation in San Diego - which is where she will be going to school.  Rough I know.  I had posted a sneak peek a while ago, but am just now finally getting around to editing them all and of course - wanted to share them with you!!!  Enjoy!! I love you Mo!!

S Family - finally!! {jonesborough, tn photographer}

Finally the S family!!  There were so many fun ones from this shoot I just had to share them!  I love spending time with different families and seeing the way they interact with eachother.  This family was so much fun and the kids were super good!  I love shooting in downtown Jonesborough - I think it's one of my new favorite spots!  Here are of my favorites from their session... Enjoy!
