Perfect for families or couples who need a few great images for holiday cards, want to give bdp a try for the first time {can't wait to meet you!}, or for those who need some updated images for wall portraits.

{MINI SESSIONS ARE NOT}

For people who want multiple location and/or outfit changes {but you can book a full session for that!!}, for newborn or senior portrait sessions, or for someone who wants all of their images on a disk {this option is not available for mini sessions, sorry!!}

baby sophia - sneak peek {bristol, va newborn photographer}

Aunt Kelsey (the beautiful blonde holding Sophia below) contacted me a few months ago about getting a gift certificate for her best friend's baby shower.  Talk about an awesome friend right??  What an amazing gift to give someone expecting their first child.  Miss Sophia arrived a few days before I was scheduled to leave for California, so we had to postpone her session until I got back, but she did great this morning!!  Mom and Dad are such relaxed and natural parents.  I love watching new parents with their newborn.  Everyone is different, and they were so easy to work with and so proud of their sweet baby girl (with good reason to be!).  Grandma even called twice during the session to see how things were going (the last picture is for you Grandma!!) - this little girl isn't lacking any love!!!  Towards the end of the session Miss Sophia was done taking pictures, but we were still able to snap a few with her gorgeous Mama and Daddy.  These two were bound to make a beautiful baby!!  Congrats again guys - I had a wonderful time with the four of you this morning!!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

   

what it takes {johnson city children's photographer}

This set of pictures puts THE biggest smile on my face.  Not only because these two adorable and crazy kids are MINE, but because they so accurately capture them and their sweet (and wild) personalities.  If you're a regular to my site, you know that it's a rarity that I'm able to get pictures of my kids - especially the two of them TOGETHER... it's practically a miracle!!  I have to admit there might have been some bribery or maybe even slight threatening (as in we wont get ice cream...) to get them to cooperate.  But once they finally sat down next to each other they couldn't stop cracking up because of how silly they were being.  I was laughing so hard I'm surprised these are in focus!! haha  They aren't perfect by any (photography) means, but to me, they couldn't get any closer to perfection.  I have to stop myself and remember that it's the imperfect moments (and pictures) that are sometimes the most meaningful.  I love these two to PIECES and am SO incredibly grateful to have them in my life... they make every day an adventure.

These were taken right outside of The Exploratorium in San Francisco, CA.  If you are ever in the area it's well worth the stop, the kids (and my hubby and me) had a blast!!

little john - sneak peek {bristol, va newborn photographer}

This is my precious nephew... how adorable is he??  My son calls him "Little John" and I think it's the cutest thing ever.  John did amazing for his pictures - he slept right through me moving and changing him and only peed once!! haha!!  I think that's a record!  I'm so happy for his Dad and Mom.  I can already tell what great parents they are and will be.  Enjoy these sweet pictures - and congrats again guys!!! amanda's senior portraits - sneak peek {johnson city, tn photographer}

First of all - seriously how insanely gorgeous is this girl???  Ugh!!  I would just die for her beautiful skin tones, dark brown eyes and perfect hair...  She reminds me of my daughter, those lucky ducks!!  What a fun session this was!  With the exception of it being crazy hot and humid and the mosquitoes that ate us alive, it was the  perfect session.  Amanda and her mom were so easy to be around, I felt like we had known each other for years!  We were cracking jokes and having tons of fun walking around downtown Jonesborough.  I'd take pictures for them anyday!  Speaking of, I'll be doing their family pictures in the next month or two so keep your eyes out for those.

I don't know what my favorite image from the session is.  If you can believe it there are tons more just as pretty as these... isn't my job hard??  Enjoy the sneak peek of the beautiful Amanda... Thanks again guys for such a fun session! 

adam + amy - sneak peek {tri cities tn couples photographer}

I had a blast with Adam and Amy on Saturday morning!!!  We had originally planned the session for Friday evening, but of course right when we pulled up it started raining!  I'm glad we rescheduled because the lighting was awesome Sat. morning and I'm not big on being out in an open field with a huge chunk of metal in a lightning storm!!  haha  I loved how comfortable the two of them were - both with each other and in front of the camera...  It was almost like I wasn't there (in a good way)!!  They were happy and fun and we just had an all around good time!!  I'm not sure what my favorite shot is... there are so many great ones!  Thanks Adam and Amy for being patient waiting for your sneak peek and to everyone else - sorry I've been MIA!!  I've had the worst cold/flu/sinus infection of my life and am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!! Enjoy your sneak peek and congratulations to the two of you!!!!

Danielle's Senior Portraits - sneak peek {Tri-Cities TN Senior Portrait Photographer}

How beautiful is Danielle??  She was so sweet, go-with-the-flow, mellow and fun too.  We met in downtown Jonesborough where I love shooting.  The weather was super duper humid, but the lighting was great.  I had lots of fun talking and getting to know Danielle a little better.  She wants to be a vet and loves working with animals, so we ended the session at the alpaca farm she helps out at.  I had never been that close to an alpaca before - they're really cute!  They mostly ran away from us, but Danielle managed to wrestle a couple for a few quick shots.  Thanks again Danielle - you're awesome!!!  Enjoy your sneak peek!
